Call for translations

Call for translations

Update: Due to strong interest in this call, we will only consider applications submitted before the 11th of October

EuroClio is currently looking for translators to help bring the Europeana content present on Historiana to larger audiences.

Do you think more educators could benefit from the resources listed here if they were available in more languages?  If the answer is yes and you want to translate source collections or (e)Learning Activities in languages that have not been translated yet, this call is for you.

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for (secondary school) teachers and educators who would like to translate selected content from Historiana in their own language.

Which languages are we looking for?

Any!

Specification

We have funding available to cover for seven volunteer translators in the period September 2023 – August 2024. Each translator will have the possibility to choose what content they would like to translate.

EuroClio will provide a fee of 40 EUR per eLearning Activity translated, or 75 EUR per Source Collection, for a maximum of 300 EUR per translator.

Should you wish to become a volunteer translator, please reach out to us at secretariat@euroclio.eu. You will be put in touch with our staff, who will guide you through the process. If you already know what you want to translate, please let us know that in your contact email as well.
