Call for volunteers: Translation of 18th century Dutch records

Call for volunteers: Translation of 18th century Dutch records
Our partner organisation in Sri Lanka, the Collective for Historical Memory and Dialogue, is looking for volunteer translators to transcribe up to 30 pages of Dutch records from the 18th century related to the city of Batticaloa in Sri Lanka. Help local historians decipher these government records to find missing pieces of the Dutch relations in Sri Lanka. If interested to volunteer and find out more, please email Mr Johann Peiris (education@chdmlka.org), stating your interest and expertise.
