These instructional activities are designed to accompany Asia & Oceania Regional Study 11: The Cold War in Asia. They will help teachers address the first two Inquiry Topics: Reasons for the Korean War (1950–1953) and Impact of the war on North and South Korea and the region (to 1963).

Now available for free download, the History of Korea Course Companion is your go-to resource for fostering knowledge and exploring the new IB history curriculum.

The activities have been developed by Ute Ackermann Boeros (American International School of Cyprus) and Bridget Martin (International School in Paris).

This resource was made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
