We are happy to announce the second type of grant which will be dedicated towards the support of our member organisations. The Regional Cooperation consists of 8 grants of 6.000 euros for the cross-border professional development with the intention to support member organisations in making their events more transnational and accessible for partners from other countries (for example, a summer school, teacher training)

Conditions

  •  The grant covers up to 5.000 euro hard costs and 1.000 euro fee for the organisers
  •  At least 3 people from another country need to take up an active role in the event (speaker, workshop host, facilitator), overall at least 25 participants need to attend the event
  • To be eligible for the grants, the lead applicant should be an EU organisation, and the activities should take place in the EU. However, non-EU members can also participate in the scheme as partners
  • All the grants are to be spent by the end of calendar year 2023 (tentatively August-November)

Matching Session

Would you like to form a consortium with other member associations to work together on a transnational topic? We will be organising two match-making sessions where both EU + non-EU members can meet and brainstorm activities and eventually partner up for the application. These sessions will take place on April 5th, 16:30-17:30 and April 12th, 16:30-17:30. If you wish to sign up for these, please send an email to eugenie@euroclio.eu.

At the moment we are working with the European Union and the Evens Foundation to prepare the call for proposals. The official call for both grants will be launched after the Annual Conference.
