The war in Ukraine has caused enormous losses and challenges for the country in all aspects, including its education system. Millions of students, parents and teachers are displaced, and government funding has been diverted away from the printing of textbooks.

Iryna Kostyuk is a teacher trainer and EuroClio Ambassador based close to Lviv, in Ukraine. She and her Polish colleague Joanna Wojdon asked for help with the publication of textbooks and translation of educational resources into Ukrainian. In this video, Iryna talks about the challenges that Ukrainian students and teachers have been facing because of the war, and explains the need for the translation, printing and distribution of textbooks.
