Searching and Finding is the first webinar in an upcoming series of three different episodes. In order to see a full overview of all webinars in this series, please click here. This webinar series is part of the Watching Videos Like a Historian project, funded by the European Union.
The whole series focus on providing teachers with hands-on activities to create engaging lessons for their classrooms. Each episode will highlight a different domain of the Media Literacy Competence Framework, which outlines the key steps for history education to develop media literacy skills in students. The Framework is part of the Watching Videos Like a Historian Toolkit, which will be shared with participants during the webinar. More details will be announced soon.
This first episode aims to:
- Provide easy-to-use activities and showcase how the Toolkit’s offer can be modular.
- Show how teachers can search for historical media.
