Trainees
Trainees are university students and/or recent graduates who, under supervision from the Secretariat staff, contribute to EuroClio's projects and activities. Traineeships can focus on getting work experience or doing research and can be in-house or remote. Trainees who focus on gaining work experience typically work with EuroClio for about 6 months.

Nazlı Altınay
Nazli Altinay is a Trainee at EuroClio who joined the team in September 2025. She studied European Studies with a major in European Law and a minor in Communication Science for her bachelor's degree at University of Amsterdam. She then continued there her master's education in European Studies with a specialisation in European Policy. She is particularly interested in citizenship, civic education, inclusivity and identity." - About
Duillean O’Sullivan
Duillean O’Sullivan
Duillean O’Sullivan is from County Clare, Ireland. He holds a double Master’s in European Studies from the University of Limerick and the University of Flensburg, and is currently completing a Professional Master of Education. Duillean has experience as a teacher of languages and history, as well as in cultural and civic engagement through initiatives such as the European Youth Event in Strasbourg,The British Council and Change the world model of the United Nations. He has also contributed to human rights and climate action projects with Amnesty International, UNITAR/IMO, and the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission. He is passionate about civic education, intercultural dialogue, and the role of history in fostering democratic values. At EuroClio, he looks forward to contributing to projects that bring young people and educators together to reflect on Europe’s past and future. - About
William Bourell
William Bourell
William Bourell is a current undergraduate student at Harvard University from Boston, Massachusetts. He has long had a passion for history and civics, as well as an appreciation for the importance of strong education in both subjects for any contributing member of a democracy. Coaching sailing and working with younger students has further deepened his interest in education, showing him firsthand the impact that good teaching can have on inspiring curiosity and responsibility. William is excited to be assisting EuroClio in advancing its mission of promoting high-quality history education across Europe, a role that combines his love for history with his commitment to democratic values and to preparing students to engage thoughtfully with the world.
