Secretariat staff
The dedicated and close-knit EuroClio staff work out of our Secretariat, based in The Hague – the International City of Peace and Justice. Managed by an Executive Director, with others acting as Project Managers, Programme Director, and Research Coordinator, considerable expertise is shared within the team. This office supports the association by delivering services to Members, Partners and the Board. The majority of its efforts focus on implementing projects and actions identified in the annual Action Plan according to its five Areas of Work and four Topics of Work. Project Managers are responsible for a wide range of projects. The Programme Director and Research Coordinator design and oversee complementary actions. The Director has overall responsibility and fosters partnership development and advocacy.
The Secretariat offers traineeships to students from Europe and beyond and provides real work experience – balancing responsibilities with opportunities to learn and grow.
The Secretariat staff is a truly international one, coming from nine different countries and speaking a total of 11 languages: Armenian, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Norwegian, Slovenian, Serbian and Spanish.
