We are happy to announce that EuroClio has a unique opportunity to provide grants for its member organisations. At the moment we are working with the European Union and the Evens Foundation to prepare the call for proposals. The funding opportunity, among others, will include:
1 grant of 52.000 euros for a Pan European Gathering (conference of history teaching associations)
Please note that only EuroClio member associations are eligible. Activities need to take place in the EU and the main applicant needs to be based in the EU. However, non-EU members can participate in the scheme as partners.
Because the pan-European Gathering of history teachers associations is a unique opportunity to bring most of EuroClio’s member organisations together, we will host a co-design (brainstorming) session during the EuroClio Annual Conference (20-22 April) in Vilnius, to discuss ideas on how to make best use of it.
We offer travel grants to enable the participation of members who otherwise would not be able to join us (both EU and non-EU members). In order to apply for travel grants please email adam@euroclio with a 1-page document in which you describe your idea for pan-European gathering as well as attach the CV of the main coordinator and outline of their past experience in organising transnational events. Deadline: March 27th, 23:59 CET.
