Trainees
Trainees are university students and/or recent graduates who, under supervision from the Secretariat staff, contribute to EuroClio’s projects and activities. Traineeships can focus on getting work experience or doing research and can be in-house or remote. Trainees who focus on gaining work experience typically work with EuroClio for about 6 months.

Helena Vicente Galán
Helena Vicente Galán joined the EuroClio team as a trainee in September 2024, primarily dealing with the Annual Conference and the Facts not Fiction, Watching Videos Like a Historian and War on Education projects. She holds a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Masters in Multilingualism and Interculturality from the University of Strasbourg. Her research interests include youth participation and impact and traumatic historical narratives. - About
Lauriane Borsaline Rotté
Lauriane Borsaline Rotté
Lauriane Borsaline Rotté joined the EuroClio team as a trainee in September 2024. She is contributing to several key projects, including Contested Histories, Monumental Challenges, and In Europe Schools. In addition, she manages EuroClio’s outreach activities and social media platforms. Lauriane holds a BA in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam and is currently pursuing the “Identity and Integration” track of the European Studies Master's program. Her academic and professional interests include culture, history, human rights, decolonial environmental and social justice. She is committed to the transformative potential of responsible history and citizenship education in shaping informed, empathetic, and critically engaged global citizens. - About
Carolina Santillano Tellez
Carolina Santillano Tellez
Carolina Santillano Tellez has joined EuroClio as trainee in September 2024, primarily dealing with the SENSEI project, UNESCO webinar series and the Making Visegrad History Digital project. She is currently attaining a master’s degree in Educational Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels. Carolina has experience in educational design as well as in leading educational projects in schools and organizations, bringing to EuroClio her pedagogical skills to support the professional development projects. She is interested in themes of migration and citizenship education which lead the main activities of her traineeship. - About
Elli Clerides
Elli Clerides
Elli Clerides joined the EuroClio team as a trainee in September 2024. She is currently working on several projects, including Changing Democracies, Seeking Justice, History Education Beyond Borders, and SENSEI. She holds a BA in Sociology from Brown University in the United States. Her senior thesis explored the regulatory gaps and challenges faced by migrant domestic workers in Cyprus. Her interests include migration, human rights, conflict, and democracy, and she hopes to explore one or more of these topics when she pursues an MA sometime in the near future.
