Annual Conference

Annual ConferenceCatalina Gaete2024-10-04T15:52:54+02:00

The EuroClio Annual Conference is a professional development and training course that connects history, heritage, and citizenship educators. Each year we welcome between 100 and 200 educators and education professionals from across and beyond Europe. They participate in an intensive professional development course, exchanging best practices from academia, teaching and civil society organisations. The conferences span several days and consist of keynote lectures, active workshops, panel discussions, interactive sessions, cultural visits, and on-site learning activities.

Aims of EuroClio's Annual Conferences

  • to exchange innovative tools, methods, and professional knowledge with other educators in Europe and beyond
  • to share educational initiatives
  • to disseminate and explore the implementation of innovative history teaching produced by national and international NGOs and intergovernmental organisations
  • to strengthen synergies between EuroClio and history educators in order to strengthen the capacity building and professional development of local educators
