Moreover, GAHE has received recognition from the side of the Teachers House, and they are responsible for making training modules that receive official recognition from the Ministry of Education. GAHE also works with the National Museum of Georgia to create teaching modules in Museum Education, and they are involved as a member of the coalition “Education For All”, in which they participate in a joint project with other associations on Teachers Professional Growth Scheme research.
Furthermore, GAHE actively works with regional branches and is planing to organise two summer campuses this summer: for refugee students and teachers close to Tbilisi (Tskneti), teaching about and researching cultural heritage in conflict territories (Abkhazia and South Ossetia), and in the Adjara region (Gonio) at the archaeological campus for school students. Finally, GAHE is, as a partner of DVV International, along with associations from Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus, involved in DVV’s project with the Koerber Stiftung to create a History Olimpiada in Georgia.
