Thinking Routines in History Education is a follow-up series of events to the successful previous round with a similar title. Consisting of four webinars and one in-person event, it will be hosted by Stefania Gargioni and Leonard Schmieding. This series aims to move forward the practice of using Project Zero (PZ) visual thinking and thinking routines in history and civics teachers in Europe
The four different webinar episodes will explore different routines and aspects of their integration into history teaching. The one live event will be hosted in Brussels during our Annual Conference: History and Hope. These events are meant to be followed in sequence but are also designed to be useful if you join only one of them. More details for each event will follow in early 2026.
Project Zero (PZ) is an initiative developed by the Harvard Graduate School of Education. You can learn more about what Project Zero consists of here.
