Until 13 January 2023, researchers have the chance to apply for a fellowship at the Vienna Wiesenthal Institute for Holocaust Studies (VWI)! Research project topics can be freely chosen within the research field of antisemitism, racism, nationalism and the Holocaust and researchers will have access to the archives of the Institute. Particularly researchers in the field of Digital Humanities with projects in Holocaust Studies are welcome to apply.
Fellowship Options
The VWI offers four different kinds of fellowship that are suited for researchers with differing amounts of experience ranging from PhD-candidates to published scholars with several years of work experience at a university or academic institution. The Institute offers:
- Two senior fellowships
- Two research fellowships
- Four junior fellowships
- One Fortunoff-VWI Research Fellowship for the Study of Roma and Sinti Persecution
