NECE is organising a webinar on “Restarting Europe: The role of civil society and citizenship education” on 11 June 2020, 3-5 pm. As part of the NECE CAMPUS 2020, this online event offers an exchange with civil society actors and EU stakeholders on the role of the European Union in times of transformation.
With this webinar, NECE is launching a methodically diverse virtual process, the NECE CAMPUS 2020. The webinar is an attempt to bring the rich diversity and creativity of European civil society actors and stakeholders and experts for European citizenship education together in times of crisis. The objectives are to explore commonalities and differences and provide a space for the development of a common language and a joint response to the new challenges and opportunities which the 2020s are presenting.

As a run-up to the NECE conference “Reconnecting in a post-pandemic world: Citizenship Education for democracy and sustainability” in Berlin, 5-7 November 2020 (www.nece-conference.eu), a series of digital events from June to November, such as webinars, dialogues, trainings and lectures as well as a barcamp on the various aspects of the conference topic, will be conducted. The aim is to strengthen cooperation and networking in digital space, provide platforms for exchange in terms of digital skills, tools, methodology and content and enhance the advocacy for citizenship education as a public good.

Registration for this webinar is still possible here until 10 June 2020. You will receive further information on the webinar access via ZOOM, the programme, etc. in your confirmation email.
