On Monday 24 August EuroClio organised a 1-day training programme to over 30 educators from Poland as part of the“Peace in Europe” scholarship of Dom Pokoju (the House of Peace in Wroclaw). The day focused on learning about peace through over 100 years of European History. The trainers (Miljenko Hajdarovic, Pascal Tak, Richard Kennett and Helen Snelson ) gave a series of active workshops related to the topics of peace and human rights. The educators, who were selected in pairs from schools across Poland, will use what they learned as part of the scholarship at their schools, and get support by trainers from Dom Pokoju. All materials from the training can be found at the website of Mount School York under the heading “Resources from the Anne Frank House training in August 2015”. The programme of the meeting can be found here.
