The EVZ Foundation presents a funding programme to support projects for the remembrance of national socialist injustice, focusing on forced labour and forgotten victims. With this programme the Foundation EVZ is supporting projects that pursue a multi-perspective approach and thus contribute to developing a European understanding of history.
The programme funds a threefold of projects, with deadlines ranging from 15 October 2015 to ongoing.
1. International projects with participation of German partners that explore forced labour under National Socialism in exhibitions, documentations, film documentaries and other formats and contribute to anchoring the subject permanently in the European culture of remembrance. You can find the call for applications here. Deadline: 15 October 2015.
2. International conferences that deal in a cross-over context with the subject of forced labour under National Socialism. You can find the call for applications here. Deadline: ongoing.
3. Primarily international projects with participation of German partners dedicated to remembrance of “forgotten” victim groups of National Socialism. In 2016, support will be provided primarily to projects that promote remembrance of the victims of National Socialist “euthanasia” and of the fate of the Soviet prisoners of war. The current call for applications focuses in particular on National Socialist “euthanasia” and on the murder of the sick in occupied areas of Poland and the Soviet Union. Deadline: 15 October 2015.
