He reports: At the initiative of the German and Israeli Governments, the German-Israeli Textbook Commission was established in 2011, with the aim to examine the depiction of each other’s country in school textbooks. Under the title “Images of others” the Commission presented its findings, recommendations and conclusions in June 2015 in Berlin.
