Time to Think: What Would You Need to Know? Thinking Routines for Historical Problematisation
November 17 @ 5:00 pm
This webinar is part of the Time to Think Project.
Historical enquiry begins not only with questions, but with recognising that something requires explanation. This webinar explores how Thinking Routines can help students transform observations, contradictions and gaps in their knowledge into historical problems worth investigating. Participants will experiment with activities that ask students to identify what they know, what remains unexplained, what evidence they would need and how their questions change during an enquiry. The session will consider how students can gradually take greater responsibility for constructing historical problems rather than simply responding to questions provided by the teacher.
The webinar will take place on November 17, 2026, between 17:00 and 18:00 CET. You can register using the button below to receive the webinar link. Hoping to see you there!
