Time to Think: How Far Can We Know? Thinking Routines for Uncertainty, Silence and Historical Evidence
December 1 @ 5:00 pm
This webinar is part of the Time to Think Project.
Historical evidence does not always permit complete or certain answers. This webinar explores how Thinking Routines can help students distinguish between what the evidence establishes, what can reasonably be inferred and what remains unknown. Participants will work with incomplete, ambiguous and sometimes contradictory evidence, including historical silences, and consider how students can communicate different degrees of certainty. Rather than treating gaps as problems to be filled through speculation, the session will explore how the limits of the historical record can themselves become part of historical enquiry.
The webinar will take place on December 1, 2026, between 17:00 and 18:00 CET. You can register using the button below to receive the webinar link. Hoping to see you there!
