Istanbul Kemerburgaz University, in partnership with the Council of Europe, organized a seminar titled “Shared Histories for a Europe without dividing lines” on 19 November 2015. Tatiana Mikina-Milko, Brian Carvell and John Hamer were the main speakers to introduce the e-book titled Shared Histories for a Europe without dividing lines, which was published by the Council of Europe. About fifty history and social science teachers from different schools in Istanbul attended the seminar. General Director of Higher and Foreign Education at Ministry of Education of Turkey and EuroClio Board Member Semih Aktekin gave a speech at the beginning of the seminar. During his speech, Semih Aktekin summarized main developments of history education in Turkey and mentioned EuroClio activities and publications in Turkey.
