EuroClio Director Jonathan Even-Zohar has contributed to the online course “Sharing Perspectives” that addresses the migration crisis. Through this course, students, both refugees and non-refugees, have been able to discuss the refugee crisis in virtual seminars after watching online lectures during ten weeks.

Thanks to the lecture of Jonathan Even-Zohar, 250 participants could discuss various aspects of the crisis. Among the topics were the European policy response to European refugees, the narratives that are built around the crisis, the role of the media and civil society, and what can be done about the refugee crisis in Europe.

The students have also contributed to a video project in which they interviewed their peers, bringing a wider public into the discussion this way.
