EUROPEANS FOR PEACE – the funding programme for international school and youth projects – announces this years’ call for application on the subject “Discrimination: Watch Out! Projects on exclusion then – and now”.

The deadline for submissions is the 1st December 2015. Projects can be applied for the period from 2016 to August 2017.

The Foundation »Remembrance, Responsibility and Future« (EVZ) has been promoting international school and youth projects between Germany and the countries of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe and Israel in its EUROPEANS FOR PEACE programme since 2005. The following expenses are partly paid for by the programme: group travel expenses, accommodation and personnel costs.
Schools or non-school education institutions are invited to join up in international partnerships with a German partner and apply for funding for their joint project. The projects can select a historical or contemporary approach to the theme. The focus of EUROPEANS FOR PEACE call for applications lies on the history of National Socialism and on current issues and patterns of discrimination.

Applications for project proposals on the situation of refugees before, during and after World War II (e.g. in camps for displaced persons) or on the situation of refugees today in the countries of the project partners are particularly encouraged.

The application form and further information are available on the EVZ website. Please notice as well the application form and the call for application.
