International Peace Bureau: Disarm! For a climate of peace

From 30 September until 3 October 2016 the International Peace Bureau is organising a world congress on world peace. They believe that more money should be spend on climate change mitigation, humanitarian programs, disarmament, conflict prevention & resolution and human security instead of the military sector. The main aim of this congress is to bring the issue of military spending, often seen as a technical question, into broad public debate and to strengthen the global community of activism.
