How is history being represented on television and the internet across Europe? Because of the work of the partner organisations in the E-Story project, these questions are now partially answered. Over the last year, the project partners analysed representations of history on TV and the internet, and debates on history in social media in their respective countries. Each analysis gives an impression of the general offer of history on TV and the internet, of which history-related programs are broadcasted during a typical week of TV, which programs are broadcasted during historically significant days, of the social media discussions that happened during these days, and a more in-depth analysis of the most popular programs.
The analysis for each of the project countries (Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, The Netherlands and United Kingdom) can be downloaded freely from http://www.e-story.eu/observatory/
