Time to Think: When the Answer Changes – Thinking Routines for Revising Historical Claims
November 3 @ 5:00 pm
This webinar is part of the Time to Think Project.
Historical thinking involves being prepared to reconsider an explanation when new evidence, questions or interpretations emerge. This webinar explores how Thinking Routines can make revision an explicit part of learning history. Participants will work with activities in which students develop an initial claim, encounter additional evidence or competing explanations, and then revisit what they previously thought. The session will examine how teachers can create space for students to qualify, modify, or reject earlier conclusions, making intellectual revision part of historical reasoning rather than simply correcting an incorrect answer.
The webinar will take place on November 3, 2026, between 17:00 and 18:00 CET. You can register using the button below to receive the webinar link. Hoping to see you there!
