32nd Annual Conference: History and Hope

April 26, 2026 - April 29, 2026

Save the date from Sunday, April 26 to Wednesday, April 29, 2026, for the 32nd Annual Conference of EuroClio, hosted in partnership with the House of European History!

Through this year's conference theme, "History and Hope: Learning for Change", we explore ways of harnessing hope from historical events and education to empower young people for benevolent changemaking. This year's sub-themes are: Multi-Perspectivity and Transnationalism, Anti-Racism/Anti-Colonial Practice and Democracy and European Values.

Whether you are new to our events or a returning visitor, this conference is the perfect place to join a community dedicated to learning and sharing with like-minded individuals in the field.

The Conference will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from Sunday, 26 April to Wednesday, 29 April 2026. The different locations of the conference will all be within walking distance of each other in the centre of Brussels.

Workshop Proposals

Please submit your proposal via the button just below. This year, the review process is overseen by a committee that will receives anonymised submissions. The deadline to submit your application is November 30, 2025!

Mobility Grants 

Want to attend EuroClio's 2026 Annual Conference? We are offering mobility grants to 15 teachers! 

We are now accepting proposals for motivation from educators who would like to receive a mobility grant. EuroClio will organise and cover the costs of travel, accommodation and food. The deadline to submit your application is November 30, 2025!
