From the 3rd to the 7th of October, 52 history, heritage and citizenship educators from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine as well as trainers from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, The Netherlands, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine came together in the first regional seminar of ‘Sharing History, Cultural Dialogues. Innovating History Education in the Black Sea Region’ project in Lviv (Ukraine). The First Regional Seminar of the project was co-organised by EuroClio, in partnership with Armenian Association of History Educators (AAHE), Public Union of Azerbaijan History Educators (PUAHE), Georgian Association of History Educators (GAHE), The National Association of Young Historians of Moldova (ANTIM) and All-Ukrainian Association of Teachers of History, Civic Education and Social Studies in Ukraine (NOVA DOBA).
During 4 days, the participants got closer acquainted with the programme, aims and expected outcomes of this seminar, actively participated in the workshops by professional trainers from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, The Netherlands, Turkey, Russia and Ukraine, worked in the national and regional groups, reflected together on the themes, topics, methods and prioritized the themes that they would like to include into the educational material.
