On 18-19 February 2016, CDRSEE Director Zvezdana Kovac, Project advisor Antonis Hadjiyannakis and Programme advisor Corinna Noack-Aetopulos met with EuroClio Director Jonathan Even Zohar, Project manager Judith Geerling and Project assistant Romana Sijakovic to coordinate the implementation of the new project, supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), with funds of Austrian Development Cooperation.
The project ePACT – Education Partnership for Advocacy, Capacity-Building and Transformation will run until October 2018. CDRSEE and EuroClio with its member associations in the Western Balkan will engage in a wide research on the needs for education reform on innovative didactical approaches in general and history education in particular. Moreover, the project aims to set up two standing working groups, one on innovative didactics approaches and the other on history education, where policy makers, experts, civil society and educators will co-operate. The meeting was fruitful and inspiring for building further synergies. More information on the project will be available in the coming weeks.
The project will be implemented with the financial support of the Austrian Development Cooperation as part of the initiative “NETUCATE – Networked education creating a skills web for participation and sensitivity.”
