EuroClio Ambassador Miloš Vukanović represented EuroClio at the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) plenary meetings which took place in Debrecen, Hungary from 2nd to 5th November. This year’s sessions where supported and organized by the Hungarian chairmanship of IHRA. EuroClio was invited to present its work and activities and to discuss opportunities for future cooperation of the two networks. Besides giving a presentation on EuroClio’s mission, its views on history education and projects and programs EuroClio has implemented in the 23 years of its work, ambassador Vukanović was also invited to actively attend as an observer in the work of the IHRA’s Education Working Group and Memory and Museums Working Group. Several ideas on closer collaboration of the two networks where presented and both sides have expressed their willingness to continue the cooperation next year when the Chairmanship of IHRA is taken over by Romania.
