How to deal with the increasingly volatile environment of non-profit organiations working for a range of ends in the human rights, social justice, inclusion, peace and democracy fields? The Open Society Foundations hosted on 21-22 November a meeting of it’s pool of grant recipients, including EuroClio, who receives core support from the Foundations and whose Director in 2013 receives a special grant from the New Executives Fund.

The meeting focused on offering the group of new executives various opportunities to engage in peer learning, including peer consultancies on difficult leadership challenges, a workshop on effective usage of communications and different panel with constructive and frank exchange of thoughts on current issues, as well as possibilities for future common strategies on dealing with new political realities.

EuroClio is very fortunate to work with the Open Society Foundations. It’s Education Support Programme and the New Executives Fund have helped the organisation effectively transition as well as develop new programmes in the field, such as ‘Football. A People’s History‘.
