Cross-Border Cooperation at Work within EUROCLIO project ‘Sharing History, Cultural Dialogues’
The 2nd Regional meeting of EUROCLIO project ‘Sharing History, Cultural Dialogues’ took place in Tbilisi, Georgia from the 20th to the 22nd of April 2013. 72 participants worked collaboratively on the development of the educational materials which will be included, at the end of the project, in a cross-border source-based innovative teaching tool, to be commonly used in the countries involved in the programme. Important decisions regarding the strategic planning of the project were made. For the first time in this programme, the material was presented and discussed. Each country team presented its draft modules, and qualities and flaws of each team’s module were intensively discussed.
Participants were trained during workshops held by three international trainers: Ineke Veldhuis-Meester (NL), Mare Oja (Estonia) and Richard McFahn (UK), who cooperated enthusiastically to the very satisfying outcome of the Seminar and were essential to enhance participants’ teaching skills as regards innovative, unbiased, critical thinking-oriented approach. Their capacity building contribution was greatly appreciated by participants and by the EUROCLIO team.
