The 2007 EUROCLIO questionnaire had its focus on the theme of the conference Human Rights Education: Lessons from History.
Participants to the Annual Conference and Professional Training Development Course of EUROCLIO and the Slovenian History Teachers’ Association were kindly requested to discuss the questionnaire on a wide as possible scale within their own associations in order to enhance the validity of its results. The help and collective effort of all those who contributed to the completion of the questionnaire was valuable in gathering important information on human rights and history teaching in each country.
The aim was to raise constructive debate at a European and international level on the important issue of human rights’ awareness and mutual respect.

During the 2001 Annual Conference EUROCLIO, which took place in Tallinn, Estonia, was asked all its member associations to fill out a questionnaire on the theme of the conference: A Changing World. The Significance of Everyday Life in the Learning and Teaching of History with Focus on the 20th Century. In this questionnaire the European history teachers’ associations were asked about the importance and the space devoted to the History of Everyday Life in their curricula as well as in everyday classroom practice.
The EUROCLIO Secretariat received many reactions on the questionnaire: 31 countries sent in 38 filled out questionnaires.The results contributed to the discussions about History of Everyday Life in most European countries.

In the 2002 EUROCLIO Annual Conference every member was asked to fill out a questionnaire concerning the theme of the conference: Rich and Varied Diversity, the learning and teaching of history about the ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities in Europe. In late 2001 the member organisations were asked to reflect, through a rather elaborate questionnaire, on the learning and teaching of history about the ethnic, religious and linguistic groups in Europe. The members were asked to disseminate and discuss the questionnaire in a wide as possible audience. EUROCLIO Secretariat received 43 filled out questionnaires representing 38 countries.The questionnaire was also sent to other organisations working in the field of education and minority groups.
